3D studio Max

I have been using 3D Studio Max now for about 4 years mainly to produce renders of models for my flash game.
To enable me to create the renders for my Flash game, I have utilised many of the features of 3D Max. These have included:

Hardware rendering

This has been used to help speed up the time it takes me to see the changes to the scenes lighting as it would be during render time before I actually render an image.

Layers

Helps me divide up the scene quickley into models I wish to show, hide or freeze.

camera script

I have developed my own cameras panel within the program using Maxscript. The panel contains an average of 15 buttons that switch to the correct camera in the viewport I have set up for the cameras.

Lines and NURBS curves

I requently used there to produce shapes and extrude to produce models of complex shapes or cable models quickly.

Frames

Used to quickly rotate, scale or move a model, for example, a human figure, for animation.

These are some of the examples of the features of Max I have worked with.
In general, I have used all the common features of Max, that is, rotating, scaling, moving models around in large scenes which I move around using one of Maxs new features, walkthrough mode.
